Care Instructions

When lighting a brand new candle for the first time:

1.  Burn candle for one hour per inch of container diameter.  (i.e. 3 inches wide would be 3 hours.

2. Do not let it burn for more than 4 hours without extinguishing the flame and trimming the wick.

3. Allowing the new candle to burn for the proper amount of time will prevent tunneling and will help you get the best use from your new candle.

4. While enjoying the candle's lovely aroma for the first time, when the top surface of wax is melted from edge to edge of its contain you may extinguish the flame     (preferably with a candle snuffer).

5. As your candle burns, carbon residue build up on the wick causing it to take on an unsightly mushroom shape. This intern can cause the flame to get too hot, produce smoke, and leave ugly black stains in your wax and container. To avoid this, remember to trim your wick to around 1/4 inch at least every four hours of burn time.

4 oz. candle will burn from 24 to 30 hours.

8 oz. candle will burn from 48 to 50 hours. 

12 oz candle will burn from 80 to 96 hours.

16 oz candle will burn from 100 to 128 hours.
